Should be updated soon with the November vendors.  Like their Facebook page for updates also, looks like they'll have some great musical entertainment on November 13th.  I'll be there with my Fiance's mother and her candies - check out her site at www.sallyssweetsandcatering.com.  Hope you can stop by and check it out.

I spent today working on some Iris Fold cards - I bought a kit and made all 8 of their styles then got creative with some of my own paper and designs - I posted pictures under Greeting Cards General.  Will make some more soon, they were fun and I found a bunch of paper I can use, has to be thin paper, and I don't have much of that, but did find some that I think will make some neat designs.

I also worked on organizing my dog breed cards, I had half made some before we tore up the office to put down new floor, paint and put in a new desk for me, so I finished those and took pictures to post on the website, now I have most of them made for the craft fair, I think still 8 breeds that I have not made, but will not have time to finish those if I want to take cat cards also.  We leave for Myrtle Beach vacation on Tuesday morning and don't return until Sunday, the craft fair is the following Saturday and Sunday, so I will not have much time between now and then to make any extra cards, will try and make one more design tomorrow.  I have 2 new Mother Day cards plus what I made last year that were left over, need a fathers day design.

I wanted to make some decorative gift card boxes, but I don't think I'll have time for those, just not enough hours in the day any more, actually, I don't think there ever were enough hours in the day for me!! LOL

OK, off to start packing for trip now.

          Until next time . . .

I know, I haven't posted in a while, been a crazy year so far, started the year out sick, got better and got sick again.  Been busy at work, trying to catch up after being out for almost 4 weeks sick with working a week in between, but the highlight of my life has been re-arranging our office - mum and I share our office, and now, I have one side of the room and she has the other - it's wonderful, I can spread my card designs out and have easy access, I have a great new desk that hides so much stuff I forget where I put it - it's fabulous!

So, the last few weeks I've been working on my designs for upcoming craft fairs.  Next one is April 30th and May 1 at the Historic Triangle Community Service Building on Waller Mill Road, Williamsburg, this is the Colonial Williamsburg Employee/Retiree/Volunteer craft fair - lots of great artists, the room is full of some much creativity it's amazing, you have to stop by if you are in the area, it's 10 to 5 both days.  I'll be selling general greeting cards and my dog breed cards.

Then I'll be at Chippokes Tracker and Steam Engine Festival the first weekend in June - it's usually VERY hot that weekend so we are taking my mum's RV and will camp out there for 2 nights, then we have access to AC when it's too hot, but don't have to drive all the way back home Saturday night!

At the moment, no others are scheduled for the rest of the summer, I have signed up for some in the fall, but I'm hoping to get another summer one in there if I can.

I hope 2011 is starting out well for everyone, don't forget to link me on your facebook page!

Well, this has been a busy week, I've been making dog cards for friends for Christmas gifts and have had a few orders.  I've been getting a little more creative, as you can see if you check out all the different pages for the dog breed cards - I found some more dog print background paper that I bought earlier in the year and forgot about, found it in my stash of decorative paper - yeah!!!  I added a new one today also, the Scottish Terrier, so I will have to re-do my display board for craft fairs, but that's ok, hopefully by the spring I'll have a few more breeds to add.

I need to make some festive thank you cards for people giving me Christmas gifts, so I guess I'll work on those later this week so I'm ready, otherwise I get wrapped up in all the holiday festivities and forget to do them, and before I know it, I'm making Valentines cards and haven't sent out my thank you cards yet, and for someone that is obsessed with making cards, that's not good!

Well, best get going and finish puttin

Well, I'm ready for the craft fair this weekend - I'm hoping there will be lots of foot traffic, this is the 3rd or 4th time the location of this craft fair has been changed, but I think this is a good location - it's in the same building where I work, so hopefully I'm right :-)

I think I've made around 300 cards, mostly Christmas, but an assortment of other cards too, in total, I think I have around 400 cards.  I was able to make 7 gift boxes, have a few small gift bags, some of which I can put together while I'm sitting there, some bookmarks and some gift tags.

I was able to take everything up there tonight so I could see where my tables are and put the table clothes on them and everything is there for me in the morning, doesn't take me long to set up and I play with the set up all day long as things sell!

This is the only craft fair I've done this year, but my fiance has been helping me to sell cards, which is why I had to work so hard to make sure I had enough inventory.

OK, best get to bed now so I have plenty of sleep and I"m all ready for tomorrow!

This is my new blog.  I'm going to try to post updates and news about things I make, have available for sale and things that are just fun.  I just set up this website today, so please be patient with me.  Thanks.
This weekend I spent making cards for an upcoming craft fair, I think I make close to 200 in 4 days and I'm still going.  The craft fair is at the Historic Triangle Community Service Building on Waller Mill Road in Williamsburg, VA.  If you are in the area, stop by, it's a great craft fair, lots of vendors.  Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 5pm.
